This beautiful baby boy is so precious. In looking back on 2016 I realized I never shared images from his session. His big brother and sister are super cute too! I love this cuddly age when they sleep the days away.

I just love black and white photography. It is simple in that it is only comprised of shades of black, grey and white but so complex in the emotion and beauty it conveys. There are no colors to distract the eye…they are calming for me. The first images I captured over 25 years ago were done with black and white film. They are rich and comfortable and uniquely insightful. I hope you enjoy the images of these sweet children as they were captured in the tenderness of a moment when they forgot I was there…just how I like it.

I spent a wonderful couple hours with this sweet girl and we had so much fun. I think she may be a ballerina when she grows up as she already has such passion and focus when she dances. Who says you can’t have fun inside on these cold winter days? We sure did….
